Find Us

Dinostar is on the corner of Humber Street and Queen Street close to Victoria Pier and Hull marina in the Fruit Market area of Hull city centre. We are a two-minute walk (or a ten-minute drive!) from The Deep.

If you are arriving by car, you should follow signs to Fruit Market from Castle Street (A63), or use post code HU1 1TH on your Satnav.

From the West: from the A63 (Castle Street) turn left onto Market Place (look out for golden King William on his horse); turn right onto Liberty Lane (next to Argos); turn right onto High Street, go under Myton Bridge and look out for Dinostar straight ahead of you.

From the East: as you come over Myton Bridge (next to the Tidal Barrier) take the slip road to the left. Turn left onto Queen Street, Dinostar is on your right.

There is free parking with a three-hour limit in the surrounding area including diagonally opposite Dinostar on Queen Street. Cheap parking is also available in the Blanket Row "Pay & Display" Car Park (just £1 all day on Sundays!).

School Trips

School Visits to Dinostar are welcomed, even when Dinostar is not open to the public. Groups of up to 60 can be accommodated.

Quiz sheets and "stamp collection" sheets are provided free of charge. Teachers are invited to make free familiarisation visits whenever Dinostar is open to the public.

Contact us for prices and availability.

Dinostar offers Dinosaur Workshops in schools. The workshops feature interactive, hands-on sessions illustrated with some of Dinostar's fascinating collection of dinosaur exhibits. Pupils get an opportunity to study replica and genuine dinosaur fossils at close quarters.

We are prepared to run Workshops anywhere in the country and we will give you a fixed price including all travel expenses.

For full details visit our Dinosaur Workshops web site.

Science Festivals

Dinosaur Workshops can also be arranged for science festivals and in visitor attractions.

Dinostar took part in the Edinburgh International Science Festival in 2016. We have also run dinosaur events at The Deep in Hull, Eureka in Halifax and RHS Harlow Carr in Harrogate.

About Us

The Experience

Dinostar is a great concept for UK retailing - a dinosaur and fossil shop with an interactive exhibition. It is hoped that the Hull Dinosaur Experience will be the first of many similar attractions.

In Schools

We provide Dinosaur Workshops in schools, visitor attractions and science festivals. Since 2005 Dinostar has visited over 800 schools and more than 40,000 children have enjoyed our workshops.

Visit our Dinosaur Workshops web site here for full details.

With over 10 years' experience of building and operating a successful privately-funded visitor attraction, we can offer our advice and guidance to you.

If you have an idea for your own visitor attraction (it doesn't have to be on a dinosaur theme) contact us to see how we can help.
